August 28th Wacky Fact of the Day - Michael Phelps sits second all-time with 16 Olympic medals, trailing only Soviet gymnast Larissa Latynina's 18. Phelps has won more medals than 150 of the 204 National Olympic Committees (Summer & Winter Games combined). He scored a $1 million bonus from Speedo for winning eight Gold medals, and apparently eats around 12,000 calories a day, six times that of an average adult male.
