About the Author
Jesse Ross was born in
Winlaw, BC, in
July, 1986.
Homeschooled up to Grade 10, he had already
co-authored three books by the time he graduated high-school.
The Amazing All-Star Hockey Activity Book came out in 1998, and
completed a series of three All-Star
Hockey books (the first
two were written by his brother Noah and father Julian).
The book received a Canadian Children's Book Centre "Our Choice"
selection.
In 2001 Jesse co-authored
O Canada Puzzles for Kids which became a bestseller and led
to O Canada Puzzles for Kids Book 2 in 2003.
In 2006 he signed a contract with Raincoast Books to
make four new sports puzzle books in the All-Star
series, which are in stores now.
He is pursuing further ventures,
from puzzle books to syndicated newspaper puzzles to illustrated
children's fiction.
